I stare into the bright silvery light until my eyes burn, then I close them tightly and watch the orange colour flares behind my eyelids and feel the warm morning sun on my face. The wind is strong and smell of salt in the air and the sound of the waves is reassuring, there is nothing except water, sky and the horizon. My thoughts slow down to a stop, I am free just to be here, not waiting and not wanting, just being. I forget that behind me is a beach and a road and a city and people, and a past filled with history that my memory too often tries to grasp. I think of nature and the beauty of a blade of grass blowing in the breeze or a bird once so awkward and earthbound, soaring in graceful arcs across the sky. I smile at my own foolishness and fortune, to be alive in this moment, filled with life and with love.

Well my trip to Prague is almost over, I hadn't been here for 5 years but it is still a city filled with magic and a good place to get lost for a week. I have met some very friendly and generous people, done a lot of walking, taken only a handful of photographs (as usual) and will finish off playing a concert tonight, and who knows maybe the dancing dog will come along too.
